I hope all of you are ready for Christmas! My children are in full-blown Christmas excitement mode. Thankfully, the snow here in Colorado has kept them busy sledding and making snow angels long enough for me to share the cutest felt Christmas ornaments ever with you!
My mother in law has always made everyone in the family a special keepsake Christmas ornament each year. With my nieces and nephews as well as my own children all having a favorite animal, she made the ornaments based on the animal of their choice.
I don’t have any patterns to share because my mother in law has crazy mad skills when it comes to sewing, and she crafted up these little critters all on her own!
Aren’t they just adorable!!!
My niece was in love with foxes before they were all the rage. She’s such a trend setter!
My daughter has been in love with wolves for the past year. She even wanted a wolf themed birthday party. Do you know how hard it is to find wolf decor for a little girl? Needless to say, she ended up settling on a pool party.
The lion belongs to my oldest daughter. I just love the added touches of embroidery on each ornament.
My youngest niece has always loved beavers. Her super talented mother was on the ball and threw her a beaver birthday party. If you follow me on Instagram, you can see the beaver cake she made. It was absolutely amazing!
My little guy has been into eagles lately. I’m not sure why he loves them so much, but he does!
My nephew’s ornament is an adorable bear.
The porcupine was made for my youngest nephew.
My mother in law made a bunch of deer and Moose for all of the women and men in the family. I seriously don’t know how she finds the time to make each of us ornaments every year, but I’m so grateful that her grandchildren will always have these precious keepsake ornaments made by her.
I guarantee you these ornaments will stay up all year-long. There’s no way my kiddos are going to let me pack them away after Christmas. (And that’s okay)
I hope you all have a great Christmas filled with joy and love.
Thank you God for the gift of your son.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Til He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
